Starting at £250 aerial photography has never been so affordable. Due to the bespoke nature of each project, all work will be quoted for after discussion with each client.
The price includes the supply of all fully processed high-resolution images and/or raw, unedited video footage.
I also offer a movie editing service to produce a fully finished HD video with titles and royalty-free soundtrack (may also include voiceover if required), prices will vary depending on the length of finished film required.
Aerial photography and video is affected by the weather especially in the U.K.
Therefore i have a flexible and pragmatic approach to scheduling client work.
I cannot operate my drones in rain or high winds. Also clients may have specific requirements that restrict us to flying at specific times.
What I need from you.
The location of the shoot (with an exact postcode), proposed date and a brief containing as much background information as possible on what work is required.
Pre Site Survey
I can then do an initial Desk based site survey to see if the shoot is possible. As part of my process to carry out successful flights, i carry out the following as standard during my pre-planning.
Research any air space restrictions in desired area to film.
Application for special permissions from the CAA to fly where applicable. This may also involve getting special permissions from a private property.Inform ATC (air traffic control) of our intentions to fly.
Set-up NOTAMS (notice to airmen) where applicable. A NOTAM involves a written notification issued to pilots before a flight, advising them of circumstances relating to the state of flying.
Task extra personnel to act as observers as well as provide security.
Each job is unique with a mixture of external influences that can affect when and where we can film, but i plan ahead to decrease possible disruptions.
Booking & Deposit
I will send you a quote with a schedule of the work, provisional date and costs.
If you are happy with my quotation, i may arrange a physical site visit to discuss any final arrangements.
i operate a provisional booking system with a firm shoot date been agreed when i have received a 25% deposit.
To provide my clients with the best possible service, my drones will only take flight when the weather is satisfactory. I monitor the weather forecast 5 days in advance of any shoot. If the signs are not good I talk to the client 48 hours prior to the shoot.
At this point we will reschedule the shoot to the next suitable date at no additional cost and the booking deposit is transferred to the new date. Weather is a known business risk in the UK, so we have to be as flexible as possible to ensure that bookings can be rearranged.
If the shoot cannot be re-scheduled due to factors out of my control (live events, client availability) I do not offer a refund of the initial deposit.
If we both decide to stay with the original date and we have bad weather, I will wait on site as long as possible in the hope of a break in the weather.
If i arrive on site and am unable to shoot on the day for whatever reason outside of my control i will charge in full, but offer a 25% discount off the price of the second shoot on the follow up date.
If the client cancels the shoot within 14 days of the scheduled date the 25% deposit will not be refunded.
